What a season it has become.
I have been a frequent caller to the program In Sight.
More often than not, I have offered opposing views in my comments.
Strangely enough, today, when I called into the show to give comment on the topic, I was told they are no longer taking my calls.
As you can probably appreciate, they are not happy with this web site, but I have never mentioned this web site on the air, nor ever intend to.
You have obviously arrived here because someone else told you about the site or you found it on a search engine. If you found this site because it was mentioned on The Miracle Channel, I can guarantee that it was not me who said it.
They have provided me reasons for not accepting my calls, which I will not state here, as they may have a negative impact on their "ministry" or organization and it would be off-topic, since we are only discussing the "In Sight" program.
Since I can no longer offer opposing views on their airwaves, this site will be the main venue I choose to use.
I hope The Miracle Channel would reconsider their stance concerning my calls, as I have yet to be disruptive, offensive or obscene, as a guest caller.
I encourage you to be careful in how much action you take when providing opposing views to them should you decide to ever call in. It seems the more actively you oppose them, the more active they become in trying to silence you. If you value your voice on In Sight, never mention my name, this web site or anything I may be associated with, as it seems to offend them and that will probably be the last time you can make your voice heard.
Mr. Paul Arthur, if you are reading this, I encourage you to consider my calls in the past and if they have been offensive or abusive, please let me know. For that matter, feel free to post them online here, that all may know. This way, everyone can hear from both parties and make an educated decision for themselves. If my calls have been on-topic, informational, educational or thought proviking, please ask your producer and management why they will not allow them. I realize that you will probably not wish to share their reasons on this site, or publicly, but I think it would be beneficial for you to know their reasons. If I were the host of an open talk show, where opposing views are welcome, and my management and/or producers were not allowing certain calls, I would really like to know why. Especially if there has been no history of abuse, obscenity, etc. from the specific callers they were blocking.
One thing I feel I must clarify at this point is that I have the utmost respect for Paul Arthur. We have dialogued and corresponded in the past, both on and off-air and he has treated me with the utmost respect and dignity, as one could expect both from a professional and a Christian. I believe he is a man of honesty, sincerity and integrity who isn't afraid to say what is on his heart. I pray he remains steadfast and true.
When speaking to the operator, who refused to allow my call, I encouraged her to visit this site and look it over in its entirety so she could see what it's all about. If she ends up reading this, I encourage her contribution, as some of her viewpoints are in disagreement with mine. Again, this affords others the ability to decide for themselves, what is right and what is wrong.
I asked the operator to privide their reasoning to me in writing, at which she stated, among other things I won't disclose due to reasons mentioned above, "I know what you are trying to do and I will not put it in writing!" Go figure... again, not willing to stand behind their words and be held to account. If you aren't willing to stand behind what you say and do by putting it in writing, then don't say or do it. If you aren't willing to write it, chances are, you've either got something to hide or you are afraid it may be used against you. What kind of a Christian stance is that?
If they are afraid I may use it against them, then why are they saying it in the first place? Is this person not aware that just as they have, I also have the option and capability of recording the phone call and the discretion as to whether or not I transcribe it on this site?
We are not concerned about who is right or wrong, but as mentioned above, "WHAT" is right or wrong. This site again, isn't about tearing down individuals, but rather, about the discovery of truth. Postings are to be considered concerning the matter of a subject, not the messenger of it. The reason we use names in the postings is so that if there is error, it can be corrected easily and aslo that we would not want a quote potentially associated with someone who did not say it.
No ministry should be afraid of having their teachings examined and where necessary, corrected. No ministry should be inconsiderate of opposing views, but rather welcome ALL of them. This allows one to reason in their own hearts what they teach and believe and to do it from a well-informed perspective. If you don't do this, it is in complete contradiction of 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Let's rightly divide the word of truth and not be ashamed!
