Since the Dallas Observer and others have exposed Ole Anthony (head of Trinity Foundation Inc. and the man ultimately behind the Grassley Investigations) as a liar, hypocrite, cult-leader, and fornicator, will this site remove its endorsement of Anthony by removing the link to Trinity Foundation Inc. in the "Web Resources" section?

Hi Spidey, in short, no, we won't remove the link. Once I am back from my holidays I may respond with a longer comment but for now, in keeping with the format of the title of this submission, I will reiterate the answer... no, no, no.

What's your point Spidey? Are you insinuating that since Ole has
his own take on God, like pretty much everyone else I know these days,
all the indisputable evidence his organization has collected over the
years against these bogus preachers for profit, amounts to nothing?
That crooks like Robert Tilton, Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland who
deliberately rake Christians over the coals for money should be allowed
to run wild and free without having to answer to anyone for their
spending habits and their manipulative money-grubbing preaching? That
people like Paul Crouch can build a huge empire, reap the fruits of it
and call it "religion"? If that's the case, I liken your thinking to
allowing an obvious murderer to get away scott free all because the
investigating officer, though finding the smoking gun, did not to wear
his seatbelt. Remember the phrase, "Don't shoot the messenger."?
Perhaps Ole Anthony has been exposed
as having run a "cult" (check the definition of a cult and you will see
that Jesus Himself was also a cult leader who answered to no earthly
authority...only worse...His leadership lead His followers to
martyrdom), but at least Ole is not enticing people with the false hope
of earthly riches, healing and other blessings by their giving. Unlike
the smooth talking televangelists who try to draw people into their
fold for their donations, Ole doesn't dangle a carrot in front of their
nose or candy coat the Gospel. Ole's manner is brash and offensive and
brutally honest.
ABSOLUTELY NO organization that claims a 501
c3 in the States or charitable status with CRA should be above scrutiny
when it comes to how they spend their organization's donor-receipted,
tax free money. And that includes the Trinity Foundation. If there is
reason to audit them, then bring it on! I don't believe Ole would
resist a "Grassly" investigation into his own organization's spending
habits as it would destroy the integrity of everything they have
accomplished in the last twenty years. So let's cut the speculation and
hearsay from people who have a personal bone to pick with Ole (like the
Duncan's who are no doubt making money off of their Trinity Foundation
experience) and get to some hard core proof of mis-spending of
donations for personal gain. Then we can talk about some real
*exposing* ! And besides, in thirty years of Ole being in ministry,
this is the most that people can come up with to *expose* and negate
his ministry????
And for the record, I don't agree with most
of Ole's theology or communal ideology anymore than I agree with your
support for con artists posing as anointed men of God. All things
aside, facts are facts and without an organization like the Trinity
Foundation to keep tabs on the pulpit pimps, you must agree that there
would be a whole lot more crap going on in the name of god than what
we're seeing today.

Spidey,
Like I said at the outset of these investigations, they will develop into nothing more than grand standing by Grassley. Now you inform me that some guy named Ole (who I've never listened to), is behind it. Well if he is all you have said he is, than it will serve to further support my prognostication. Seems like there are a lot of wolves, aside from the Deweert's and the Miracle Channel, waiting to fleece the sheep.
Hey . . . I thought this was the "Miracle Channel Review" we're kinda' straying way off topic here!

There is a group of former TFI members who are working to discredit the Foundation and its leader Ole Anthony. Wendy and Doug Duncan are the ringleaders of this group who basically dismiss the years of work the Foundation has done to further their claim that TFI is a destructive cult. I've spent plenty of time talking to this crowd, and I have not been convinced that they have taken a Biblical approach in their fault finding with Trinity Foundation. What I have gathered is that Doug and Wendy refused any serious attempts to go directly to Trinity Foundation firstly with their concerns and instead went public with a self-published book called "I Can't Hear God Anymore" that describes Ole Anthony as an abusive cult leader. I've talked with Ole over the phone about Doug and Wendy's issues, and I am not convinced that Ole refuses to be questioned nor held accountable in the way the Duncans have claimed he has. This has seemed from my perspective to be a bitter root that has grown up and brought harm to TFI's cause of ending the tragic damage being done in God's name.
